DELIBERATE AND CONSIDER ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
1. Minutes of previous Commissioners’Court meetings.
2. Departmental reports.
3. Architect Marcel Quimby to discuss updated schedule for the Courthouse Restoration
Project.
4. Appoint Constable in Precinct 1.
5. First Responders requesting to use brick building at 107 E. Davison St.
6. Agreement for Communication Services between Valor Telecommunication TX, dba Windstream
Communications and Newton County.
7. Authorize to advertise Request for Proposals for Newton County Local Hazard Mitigation
Plan Update.
8. Authorize to advertise Request for bids to sell 3 vehicles for Newton County Sheriff
Department.
9. Authorize to advertise Request for Proposals for disaster debris removal.
10. Lease Agreement between Newton County Fair Association, Inc. and Newton County.
11. TDRA Contract No. DRS010126 for CDBG Disaster Recovery Non-Entitlement Grant Program for
$2,043,005.00 for street improvements.
12. Continuing education certification.
13. Newton County Public Facility Corporation Arbitrage Rebate Analysis on Lease Revenue
Bonds, Series 2002.
14. Temporary recess from Commissioners’ Court meeting to convene to Notice of Public Meeting
for the Newton County Public Facility Corporation.
15. Payment of bills.

Pursuant to the authority granted under Government Code, Chap. 551 Commissioners’ Court may
convene a closed session to discuss any of the above agenda items. Immediately before any closed
session, the specific section or sections of Government Code, Chap. 551 that provide statutory
authority will be announced.
