1. Minutes of previous Commissioners’ Court

3. Acadian Ambulance requesting permission to sell
Ambulance Program to NewtonCounty residents.
4. Architect Marcel Quimby to present Change Order
#07 with regard to the Courthouse Restoration Project (regarding three Revisions to the Contract
requested by JR Jones Construction Inc).
5. NewtonCountyProperty Insurance Renewal with Texas
Association of Counties.
6. Option of Imposition of Extra Fees with Texas
Department of Transportation.
7. Consider participating in DETCOG’s recommendation
to obtain legal assistance in obtaining waivers regarding Hurricane Ike Disaster Recovery Funds for
Round II funding.
8. Accept statement of Appointment, oath, deputation

9. HurricaneIkeCounty Wildfire Protection Plan Grant
Agreement #04.10 for $10,000.00 between TexasForest Service and NewtonCounty.
10. Authorize to advertise request for proposals for Professional Services

Pursuant to the authority granted under Government Code, Chap. 551 Commissioners’ Court may
convene a closed session to discuss any of the above agenda items. Immediately before any
closed session, the specific section or sections of Government Code, Chap. 551 that provide
statutory authority will be announced.
