Most of what you need for registering, checking, and maintaining your voter registration information is available at www.votetexas.gov (English) and www.votetexas.gov/es (Spanish) .

Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance. You may contact our office at (409) 379-5932 and speak to Deputy Voter Registrar, Yolonda Byerly or Melissa Burks, Voter Registrar.

3 THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT YOUR REGISTRATION:

  1. Keep your address maintained. You can use the Voter Registration Application for any changes to your name, address, etc. OR you can email or write us with the information,
  2. Cutoff for eligibility to vote in a particular election is always 30 days prior to that election,
  3. Bring your current voter registration card and license when you vote…this ensures you can solve any issues if you go to the wrong place or have inaccurate information on file.

Voter Registration Applications are available in all our offices, at any area library, the Clerk’s office, as well as other public places across the county.
